If you’re reading this, you’re probably thinking, “what the heck is this diet water article even about?!” I thought the same thing when learning about this fad and felt the need to compile a list of water for diet. This review won’t be like the others you will find that hail the magical ingredients of an elixir that will make you shed the pounds. It doesn’t work that way.
What we’ll discuss is a list of products that have minimal ingredients, absolutely no artificial sweeteners, and no plastic (help the environment while helping yourself). Many workout/weight loss drinks out there are filled with stuff that is hard to pronounce. That can’t be a good thing. When fitness and health are concerned, we want to find the most natural products out there.
I won’t BS you…The water straight out of your tap (as long as it has been tested for minimal impurities) is most likely your best bet. That’s literally at the top of this list because it’s so easy to obtain, you already pay for it, and you know exactly where it comes from. If you want to start being healthier today, ditch the sugar and artificial sweetener and grab some tap water instead. But, if you want something with a little more flavor, that will also hydrate you and be about as healthy as you tap, here is our list of the best water for diets or “diet water”:
Best Overall Water for Diet
Bubly sparkling water is at the top of our list. No, it doesn’t really taste like soda/pop, but it is definitely much more flavorful than tap water. Get a nice hint of bubbles and natural flavoring when you go this route. It doesn’t have a strong taste, but Bubly is so much healthier than other drinks because it has no calories, sugar, or artificial sweetener.
This variety pack comes with three different flavors, so you have a variety that lessens your chance of getting sick of the drink and reaching for something sugary. This highly rated drink makes the top of our list! There have been some complaints of this soda water not having much flavor. If you are used to 40 grams of sugar or loads of artificial sweeteners, then this might be the case. It definitely has enough flavor for us and will help your ability to lose weight.
Best Budget “Water for Diet”
Spindrift Grapefruit Sparkling Water is another great option, and it might be the flavor you’re looking for. This drink will have a bit more taste than Bubly because it contains fruit juice – grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Spindrift comes in with 17 calories, 3 grams of sugar, and 4 grams of carbs. More than other waters for diet but significantly less than juice cleanses, sports drinks, and other sodas. You’ll get some much-needed fruit along with the hydration of water with Spindrift.
If you aren’t a fan grapefruit, they do have other flavors. Another cool feature is that you can get a discount if you set up a delivery for every month/week (whatever your desired frequency is). So, you can get healthy, save money, and avoid other drinks costing you your hard-dieting work. You won’t regret giving this sparkling water a try.
Best Runner Up
I’m sure you’ve heard of Perrier, another great water for dieting. This made our runner up because they sell 30 packs of the same flavor. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good price but the lack of variety is what bumped Perrier to the runner up. Still and awesome zero sugar, zero-calorie, zero sweetener water that will keep you on track. Perhaps bubblier than Bubly itself, it’s a refreshing drink with a carbonated kick. If you really like more bubbles, then go with Perrier.
France knows what’s up when it comes to great water because they’ve been in business since the 1800s. Time tested and quality assured, you will be happy with Perrier. Keep in mind that the natural flavors are meant to be “hints”. You won’t get a full-on sugar blast of the flavor of your choice. It will be a subtle hint of great flavors along with healthy soda water for your diet.
Best Water for Diet Under $8
We just love Bubly so much that they had to be on the list twice. Save money with 18 12-ounce cans of the same flavor. You won’t get the variety, but you will save a few bucks. If you’re looking for a great deal, this one is hard to pass up. There have been many customers (even loyal to other brands) that picked up this brand and never turned back.

Water for Diet Alternative
Okay, so maybe sparkling water isn’t your thing. We get it. It’s not the most flavorful drink out there, but it’s certainly awesome for weight loss. If you want something with a bit more sugar, try Sanpellegrino. It does have some sugar added along with fruit and vegetable juices. A can of this stuff has 35 calories, 7 grams of sugar, and 7 carbs. Still not that bad, right?
Sanpellegrino designed a refreshing beverage that will still (hopefully) keep you away from the other unhealthy drinks. We put this on the alternatives list since it does have some sugar although there are no artificial sweeteners in this water for diets. Give it a try if you need a little more flavor but still want to stay on track.
Alternative 2
Fever-Tree is one of the highest-rated tonic waters out there. Why is it on our list? We thought you might be wondering this. Since people typically like to mix squeezed fruit, juice, or alcoholic beverages with soda or other drinks, we wanted to provide a nice alternative. Instead of mixing your gin with juice, try some tonic water and save yourself some calories and added sugar! If you are trying to lose weight, choosing the right drinks on a daily basis is definitely important. Sometimes people forget how much sugar and calories they’re actually ingesting just in liquid form.
